DIY Tassel Blanket

Fall means comfort food, sweater weather, quiet nights in and all things cozy. I’ve had my eye on a pom pom blanket for some time now but they can be expensive and I really just wanted something simple, so I decided to make one myself. This easy diy tassel blanket only took minutes to make.

All you need is a small piece of cardboard, yarn and a blanket. I went for a neutral look and used this lightweight blanket I already had from Ikea. Once you make the pom poms just add a quick stitch and that’s it! This way, if you ever wanted to change it back, you could simply remove the pom poms by undoing the stitch. This blanket adds a fun touch at the edge of a bed or draped on a couch or blanket ladder.
