Top Ten Inspirational Podcasts

Over the last while, I’ve been listening to all kinds of podcasts and I’m truly obsessed so I put together my list of top ten inspirational ones. I enjoy a variety of podcasts but typically my favourites are motivational, educational or related to some type of self-improvement. It’s so nice to be able to multitask and listen while making dinner, going for a walk or taking a bath! When I’m home, I basically have one on in the background at all times!

The list below also highlights some of my favourite episodes which include a special guest that I admire. Here they are in no particular order. Enjoy listening!

1. Raw Beauty Talks features top influencers who have overcome adversity and shares their story on health, beauty, and wellness. Jillian Harris was featured in the May 30, 2019 episode and she shares an honest account of the pressures faced running her business while trying to do it all. http://rawbeautytalks.com


2. Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations is such a popular podcast and no surprise why, Oprah interviews everyone from authors to top leaders and wellness experts. One of my favourite episodes is with best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert: The Curiosity- Driven Life where she discusses following your passion vs. following your curiosity. http://Oprah.com


3. The Here for Her Podcast is run by a dynamic duo inspiring conversations about beauty, business, wellness, motherhood and more. I actually have two favourite episodes. The first is with the lovely Tori Wesszer from Fraiche Nutrition (June 23, 2019) discussing meal tips and how to eat both balanced and mindfully. The second is with the incredible Cat & Nat (August 4, 2019) who are known for their authentic and hilarious take on motherhood. http://hereforherpodcast.com


4. I’ve been a big fan of Deliciously Ella for quite some time. Their podcast focusses on mental and physical health. It is hosted by Ella and Matthew Mills, the founder and CEO of Deliciously Ella. I love all the topics they cover including food waste, lessons in happiness, plant power, stress, mindfulness and sustainability. http://deliciouslyella.com


5. The Papaya Podcast is by Sarah Nicole from the Birds Papaya who is known for her honest journey through weight loss, divorce and single parenthood while sharing the value and meaning behind self-love. She’s an amazing storyteller and her Podcast is raw, touching on real life topics. http://thebirdspapaya.com


5. Of course, included on this list is the one and only Rachel Hollis from the RISE Podcast. She offers tools on life and business and is a New York Times Best-Selling Author. She is admired for her authenticity and for her real-life takeaway lessons. She covers everything from business to bravery to burnout. http://www.rachelhollis.com


6. Lauren Conrad’s podcast is called Asking for a Friend. I’ve included this podcast because it’s an easy listen but still covers informative topics. Lauren is natural and the topics are relatable and fun. Her guests offer listeners tips on event planning, motherhood, photography, social media and more! http://laurenconrad.com


7. Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin is such an honest account of life, the good and the hard times. So refreshing and interesting to follow the dynamic between Jana and Mike’s relationship. Episodes include subjects from self-sabotage to parent confessions but also include such a fun list of guests. http://www.janakramer.com


8. Melyssa Griffin specializes in all sorts of entrepreneurial topics but her podcast Pursuit with Purpose is focussed on her journey to meaning and fulfillment and avoiding the competition and the comparison. She is relatable, offers awesome advice and along with her guests the episodes leave you feeling motivated. I especially enjoyed episode #15 with Deepak Chopra, world-renowned spiritual leader on How to Attract Anything You Want Into Your Life. http://melyssagriffin.com


9. Jenna Kutcher is the host of the Gold Digger Podcast and it is super popular. It covers a little bit of everything including productivity tips, social media strategies and business hacks. She interviews the very best in the biz and every episode offers amazing tools and takeaways. Overall, an awesome mix of content. http://www.jennakutcher.com


10. Last but not least is The Goop Podcast with Gwenyth Paltrow and Chief Content Officer Elise. They talk to impressive guests from celebrities, culture shapers to leading thinkers. This podcast offers great content, fascinating topics and there is definitely something for everyone. http://www.goop.com
