Neutral Christmas Decor at the Dollar Store
There are so many options for neutral Christmas decor these days. So… what better place than the Dollar Store for some Christmas ideas and inspiration. They’ve come such a long way with their holiday decor, which you’ll see below but I also like to find things in unexpected aisles. One being the kids toy aisle but there are hidden treasures everywhere!
Some of these pieces are ready to go, off the shelf, and some can be upgraded and customized with a little paint. Let’s see what I found for Neutral Holiday Decor… these are all from Dollarama here in Canada but many of these things can be found at any dollar store.
First up are these darling little wood houses. They would make the cutest Christmas village and you could also add in some smaller ones. The details are amazing! Although I’d probably paint them white but even as is, they’re a great holiday piece and such a fun craft to do with kids too.
Next up are fillable ornaments. The possibilities with these are endless!! I’ve seen everything from minimal vibes with some greenery to all sorts of colour themes. They can be customized with letters which would also make a great gift! I’ve seen jumbo ones and the smaller ones here are only $1 each. You could really get creative with these guys!
Perhaps my cutest Christmas find at Dollarama, this felt reindeer garland. It comes with a sleigh at the end (which you could remove). Draped over a fireplace mixed in with some greenery or displayed in a kid’s space, just adorable! I picked one up and was even thinking of getting another one to cut the reindeer out individually and use as a gift toppers. This was a fave for sure!

Now onto these scandi wood trees on a log stand. I could not believe these are from the dollar store! I truly love the look and the Scandinavian vibes, just perfect for neutral Christmas decor.
Next these bottle brush trees! These have been so popular over the last few years. They were so hard to find before and they definitely sell out at the dollar store every time. You can’t beat the value for this package but this year they seem to carry a ton of colours. I of course bought several packages in white and I’ll probably just display them in a bowl. They’re adorable!!
Dollarama has definitely stepped up their game when it comes to ornaments. My top pick were these sparkly white ones. They had coordinating ornaments too but a steal at this price!
And last but not least, little nutcrackers. These were in the craft section but they caught my eye right away. I like them as is but of course you could paint them in any colour. Another fun craft and cute addition to your holiday decor.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my neutral decor picks. It’s hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner but now is for sure the time to stock up on things, especially dollar store stuff as it always sells out before you know it.
